What are the disadvantages of using water to cool an engine?

2. Natural water is not pure and contains various minerals such as calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, sodium nitride, silicates, sulfides, etc. Calcium and magnesium can easily deposit in the cooling system, forming scale, while chlorides and sulfates can easily corrode metals. Moreover, the quality of natural water varies by region, making it difficult to select natural water that meets the requirements.
